DEPOP FACE FILTER

DEPOP FACE FILTER
For this filter I took inspiration from the latest fashion trends, all forming from TikTok. These are a mixture on 90's and Y2k trends, layered necklaces and funky earrings.  I focused on accessories as this would produce a creative filter that would still promote Depop. Below are some images that I used to base my designs on.
I really wanted to produce a filter with hair clips on it. So I tried a few designs with this on. I In the end I chose the last design but wanted to include the earrings from the 3rd. The last design also allowed me to create some animation aspect with the stars. I drew each accessory on a separate file on procreate. Instead of using blue, I changed some of the items, such as the sunglasses, to red or black to match Depops colour theme.

To try an improve this, I added a metallic filter to the glasses, so that it displayed both of Depop's logo colours; black and red. For the animation, I wanted to create stars that flashed around the face. The animation was a part that I struggled with when using Spark AR. Because of this I have kept it fairly simple. Below is a screen shot of my Path Editor and a video of my filter working on the software. I think that this turned out surprisingly okay, considering the issues I had with animation and getting my ideas to work.
